What sticks with me after traveling for 2 months

I've been trying to document some of the most prominent, funny or maybe just random memories from our trip that I don't want to (or can't seem to) forget. Here's a few that I've been thinking about...

Where are we now?

We're clearly way behind on getting more travel posts up about our trip, but I promise we will at some point! In the meantime, Peter is back to work finishing up game #2 and getting started on game #3 for Hideout Games. We flew home at the end of July just in time to attend Peter's baby sister's wedding (so much fun!). I've spent most of August in the kitchen canning my little heart out. This not-working thing does not suck!

I'm currently throwing the idea of starting to teach some cooking classes. I'm looking for full-time work but still not in a hurry to go back to work. I would love to monetize this stay-at-home person status as long as possible, so starting my own business is sounding more and more appealing. If you want to come cook with me, please let me know!

We don't have any immediate travel plans, although are throwing around ideas for a short trip in September. Mostly we're just enjoying the gorgeous weather in Seattle!

Here's some wedding and canning pictures in the meantime!!

My SIL Lindsey and I!
Peter & Olivia (the bride!)

Uncle Peter and Ella
Vanilla Bean Apricot Preserves
Honeyed Bread & Butter Pickles -- So delicious I had to make a second DOUBLE batch.
I should probably stay away from the farmers market...
Peach Salsa in the making.
Monday's canning adventures with my Papou! Giardiniera, roasted red peppers, and spicy pickled onions.
Pretty in pink!
